My name is Annabella Marquis, and I am a junior at Indiana State University. I curated my own bachelor’s degree through our Design Your Own Degree Program, titled Forensic Psychology and Critical Human Life Studies, with two minors in Forensic Investigation and Psychology. I am deeply committed to fostering inclusivity and a safe space for everyone on and off of my university’s campus, especially through my work with our Alliance for Disability Awareness club. I understand what it is like to be bullied or feel like there is no end to suffering, and I want to let everyone know that the pain they are feeling is temporary. I also do my best to lift up the marginalized voices that need heard the most when it comes to mental health struggles.

I love music, art, hanging out with my friends, playing the cello, and playing video games. I aim to one day, while still keeping true to my creative self, build a successful career in STEM, where I also want to be of benefit to my community.
