Bullying Prevention K-2 Curriculum

Designing, writing, editing, and illustrating We’re Different But We’re All Kitty Cats has been an exciting journey for all of us at Stand for the Silent. Sharing it with children and adults in various settings inspired us to create a FREE curriculum so that the kitty cats and the wisdom they bring to children can be used readily in your classroom. 

Inside BULLY FREE students make BULLY FREE classrooms you will find five complete lesson plans, with embedded information, as well as a teacher’s guide to assist you in reading the book with your class and in presenting a series of hands-on social/emotional learning experiences to your students. 

Our FREE (K-2) curriculum for offers:

1. Education and Awareness: Help educate children about the concept of bullying and raise their awareness about its negative effects. It provides them with a foundation to understand what bullying is and recognize when they or others may be experiencing it.

2. Empowerment and Resilience: Empower children by teaching them strategies to prevent and respond to bullying. It includes information on assertiveness, empathy, and conflict resolution skills, enabling kids to develop resilience and confidence in handling bullying situations.

3. Creating a Positive Environment: Parents or guardians can contribute to creating a safe and inclusive environment for their children. Our guide emphasizes the importance of kindness, empathy, and respecting differences, fostering a culture of acceptance and understanding among kids.
