Kayla Hundley
Hello! My name is Kayla Hundley. This spring of 2026, I will be graduating from Northern Oklahoma Community College with an associate degree in Behavioral and Social Science. In the fall 2026 semester, I will continue my education in psychology at Oklahoma State University. I have a strong passion for helping others and advocating for mental health awareness. My goal is to earn a master’s degree in counseling and become a licensed therapist. My desire for mental health advocacy stems from recognizing how vital consistent support and guidance are in individuals’ lives and in suicide prevention.
In addition to my academic pursuits, I have been coaching volleyball for three years now, two as an assistant coach and one year as a head coach. In this role, I provide guidance to young athletes to improve their skills both on and off the court. I value teaching mental toughness and incorporating mental training within the sport.
I am committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of others by promoting emotional wellness, mental strength, and personal growth. I am so appreciative to receive the State of Oklahoma Scholarship from Stand for the Silent as it will help me accomplish my goals!
